I personally love it when Neil writes from the perspective of psychopaths. This is the next chapter in the dictator anthology (after Delusions, Dictator Decides, Stupidity).

Don't forget "Hell"! ("The dead can dance" might fit somewhere in the narrative as well. And come to think of it, "Don Juan" might be considered the original specimen?)

"Living in the past" strikes me as one of the finest performances of Neil's career and even uses a vocal tone and timbre I feel we haven't heard before. Pretty nice trick this far in. Just another way to feel lucky to be a PSB fan.

They really do have the best middle eights, the warm synth pad sounds so good...a bit better on the newer version than the demo.
kinda reminds me of London the piano version overall.
