I don’t mean to ignore you or be impolite, but you didn’t really raise anything I hadn’t already considered. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about things and have reached conclusions I see as well-established. I'm always intrested in seeing if there's something I missed.

When you say political, I say intellectual social commentary. And the reason is simple: one only excludes the other if you place active party politics at the top of the hierarchy.

Absolutely! It's right up there with Fugitive, but hides behind a cheerful chorus.

I knew they'd never release it as a Christmas single - opening with "If you think you’re going down in hazel, black and brown" isn't exactly congruous with "dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh"

Do wish they kept aspects of the Chris' demo. The crispness of the synth in the chorus works much better, and maybe they could have left the chorus vocals until the end, as I kinda like Neils isolated vocals as much.
