First band I saw live (1980). I like how Squeeze managed to get by Auntie BBC's prime time 7.30pm TOTP slot and sing a song with "bleedin' ", an ITV show (The Sweeney) and even (shock!) having sex and the consequences ("give the dog a bone" and "but all I get is bitter and a nasty little rash") in the lyrics. How I larft!
