I don't see any idea here, I don't feel PSB on this cover, it's very bad.
Neon lights, Neil, Chris and 85% of black color.
Who's dead?
I am a fan for 16 years and i thnik it is one of the worst psb covers.

Farrow has lost his talant. He had to stop and look back at the time when he did
Introspective, Was It Worth It, Bilingual, Behaviour and etc...

I hope it is not real cover or... they will change their minds!
Awefull!!!
Come on, you're biased :P

I think it's great. Much better than a flower anyway.

The _only_ thing I'm not liking in the latest round of cover shoots is the use of the old style hats.

I think its a bit harsh to say this farrow lost his talent because you dont happen to like this particular cover. I dont like the new bacon cheddar cheeseburger at BurgerKing, that doesnt mean they lost the ability to make good fast food.

as far as the release cover I really only liked that color flower one, I think it was the one for japan.

I have seen better but it's fine. I am more looking forward to the music inside. The different shots with them holding the lights and all make the booklet look promising

I love every PSB track (even the sound of the atom splitting).
I don't like hearing anyone saying bad things about their music or about them.
But apart from it, the only critcism i have on them is their artwork.
If this is really the album cover......... it is no exception.

I think the cover is OK, but agree that balance of text on one side vs psb half-way down on the other doesn't look quite right.

What really surprises me, though, is that it is "Pet Shop Boys, Fundamental" not "Fundamental Pet Shop Boys"; I expected it to be as for Very ("Very Pet Shop Boys") for the word order.
Love comes quickly, but is a catastrophe and a bourgeois construct etc.

True

I was expecting only a FUNDAMENTAL PET SHOP BOYS simillar to the "somewhere" neon sign.
Well,nightlife still my favorite

And don´t you think that red would be better?

Then they´d need a couple of more covers with different colours. Like Release.

Maybe a few street lights down a seedy alleyway and Fudamental on an actual sign, could have worked. With PSB dressed like that, it has the ''back street in London feel to it.

And please, with some of the great artwork ive seen on here, no one do a cover of the camel.

From Hell? :D

It reminds me of Jack The Ripper, especially the way Chris looks o_O...actually Chris looks really disturbing, the way he's looking at you from out of the shadows, with the dark glasses, not being able to see his eyes, lol  :D

The PSB off-to-the-side works for me. Hasn't their music always been a bit like that anyway? I mean, even in their videos, they're often off to the side observing (and commenting) on the events rather than being in the spotlight.
