PET SHOP BOYS GIG!

#1 Post by flamboyant »

JUST READ THIS IN THE SUN NEWSPAPER THIS MORNING!

Pet shop boys filming a documentry for channel 4 - a lot of it will be shot in Newcastle. And in the papers words " The boat will come in for all their homeland fans when they stage a huge gig at Swan Hunter`s Shipyard in Wallsend

It`s Gonna be a big year for the Boys! Lets hope Radio 1 sort themselves out and give the boys the airplay and recognition that`s due!

isn't this documentary thing already mentioned on the official page?

For the gig - maybe it's that one, which is sheduled for May 22. Question is: what is Swan Hunter`s Shipyard and where is Wallsend... ??? Is this London? Is it somewhere outside... Is it Newcastle???

Got a feeling the Wallsend-On-Tyne gig is the same as the Potemkin Performance.

Must be. A shipyard is btw a perfect location for a BP performance... :D

Wallsend is very near Newcastle. Presumably the show that is being referred to is the Potemkin performace - surely they wouldn't play two big separate shows in Newcastle in May?

I said I would never go to Newcastle for obvious reasons, but this gig is very tempting indeed!!

Ah, What a result.

Sunderland are at home, in what will be their last Premiership home game for a while(!), to the ARSEnal on Saturday 29th April.

A return fare from my local station to Newcastle on the train is just £19 (2 single fares of £9.50 is much much cheaper than a return fare of £73.50!!)

I have relatives I can stay with in Sunderland FREE!!

Scumcastle on 01.05.06 here I come!!!
