Luna Park

the latest two review we've seen have panned this song.

Others (Nightlife/Dazzer) seem to love it.

It's the longest track on the LP.

I can't help feeling that this song will be the crux in terms of how people rate the album: it opens 'Side 2' (after the instrumental) and seems to 'set the tone' for the more reflective, enchanting second half..

if ya don't like it, chances are you're not going to be enchanted!

the fact that the last reveiwer panned it and also said it sounded "beatly" means that it will probably be my favorite song on the album (then again, i like "i get along" and "birthday boy" quite a bit)

Birthday Boy is actually a quite good comparison, altough this one is more lush and more electronic.

I think that I will love Luna Park - it sounds crepuscular. I'm interested to see that you are liking the album more with time, Eldritch. Knowing what Zeus thinks of Release, the slow songs appear to have got off lightly in his review.

You'll love the whole album, it's such a beautiful 49 minutes of music.
You don't have to be beautiful, but it helps!
