Brief sample of West End girls used in US TV Show.

#1 Post by Suburban_Boy »

I'm not even sure this merits a mention really, but what the hell. I've just been watching the latest episode of American Dad (US cartoon made by the same team that does Family Guy), and noticed they played a snippet (literally two seconds) of West End Girls. The scene basically involved someone creating a voicemail message and part of that message was 'meet me at the "West End" of the park', and the West End bit was sampled from West End girls. They've already been in The Simpsons, which one next, South Park?

Lee

PS. I wonder if the production company had to pay to use the sample?

The episode was great until Lame Al Yankovich was introduced.

The soap Passions used the PSB maxi-mix of sorry on Friday. The gothic chior thing at the beginning fit well with the story line. The various characters are in Rome on a quest to find some pictures or something that's a rip off of the Da Vinci Code. My favorite storyline is the cloistered nun who had to go to the convent in order to stop herself sleeping with her half brother who she had a child out of incest with.

Someone there likes Madonna because that's the second time they have used Sorry.

Could anyone please tell me if there really was an episode where Neil and Chris characters played themselves and Homer left Marge for them and then he ran away from them back to Marge?
