There was a thread on here a while ago about "PSB embarassment"; i.e. that more people would buy psb stuff if they didn't have to be seen grasping a CD by a gay, ageing pop duo in HMV or wherever . . . . there may be hosts of secret fans out there.
As Fundamental is the first PSB album of the "legal download" era, are we expecting the availability of downloads to help the sales and chart placings of I'm with stupid and Fundamental? Is it just possible that we might be pleasantly surprised by how well the records chart?
(I was early in work this morning, and put the four tracks that I have already from F (no Casanova or S&G yet . . .) onto the internal piped music system via my iPod . . . . and God it sounded good)
Will downloads help PSB?

As part of the album promotion, HMV, I believe will be handing out 'Fundamental' balaclava's for prospecting buyers, allowing them to purchase the album in complete anonymity and retain their street cred.
Seriously though, you might have a point. I can't imagine it'd make that much of a difference, unless theres a huge PSB Anonymous underground movement we don't know about.
