Integral

#1 Post by raggatwin »

Is it me or does 'Integral' sound like a combination of Let's All Chant and Night and Day?
Hello my name is Neil Tennant and I'm Chris Lowe and we're of the Pet Shop Boys.

Reminds me of Beds are burning, but also of another song but can't put my finger on it...

For some bizzare reason it reminds me of "What is Love" by Haddaway

The verse of Integral is very similar to the chorus of Let's All Chant....

Yep, just a hint of that "my body your body"-bit, and really really slowed down. But yep, tis the one.

i thought it sounded a bit like pat&mick - gawd bless'em - the first time i heard it, but i didn't like to mention it in case anyone shouted. i envy the younger posters here who will absolutely no idea of who pat&mick were, the chav version of hoddle&waddle! mullets - how they take me back - and not in a good way.

can i mention that the breakdown in minimal " an empty room / thought / leaves a trace " reminds me of kraftwerks 'operator' ( off musique non stop ) ' i call you up / from time to time / just to get a connection / on a telephone line'. well it does.
" ...but what i do like, i love passionately.."

Whilst we are on the subject....'Casanova in Hell' has a very familiar melody.

Casanova resembles Friendly Fire a bit.
