What does Neil say at the beginning of Jealousy?

#1 Post by Choliux »

I'm listening to the recent BBC2 concert at the Mermaid theater and I was wondering what neil recites before he introduces Robbie Williams? Can anyone help?

What a great idea it was to have Williams singing 'Jealousy'. /off topic/

Not poppy, nor mandragora,
Nor all the drowsy syrups of the world,
Shall ever medicine thee to that sweet sleep
Which thou owedst yesterday

Shakespeare: Othello, Act 3 Scene III

Actually, for the Radio2 show he says

"Nor all the drowsy syrups of the east". He definitely says 'world' on the extended mix.
