a few discography (im with stupid) questions.

while trying to complete my buying im having a few bits of trouble with the following.

1. apart from the promo with the cat number do the 4 acetates exist or are they all fakes/copies.

CD-R: 2006 UK (Parlophone/EMI; n/a) [studio mastering acetate; Mar 2006; diff trk order]
CD-R: 2006 UK (Parlophone/EMI; n/a) [studio mastering acetate; Mar 2006; handwritten on disc]
CD5: 2006 NL (Parlophone/EMI; 0-0946-3-64979-2 1) [promo; 2 May 2006; x100]
8:12 I'm With Stupid (pet shop boys maxi-mix) ["psb maxi mix"]
5:15 I'm With Stupid (abe duque mix)
6:05 I'm With Stupid (melnyk heavy petting mix)
4:23 I'm With Stupid (max tundra mix) ["max tundra"]
5:51 I'm With Stupid (abe duque dub)
5:40 The Resurrectionist (goetz b. extended mix)

3:27 I'm With Stupid ["album mix"]
3:58 Psychological (instrumental)

2. the following 7" is there any way to tell between this and the good 7" (ie. matrix nuumbers)
7": 2006 UK (Parlophone; R 6690) [picture disc; 8 May 2006; iffy soundquailty]

3.are the following cds both the same or do we have a seperate nl and australian pressing
CD5: 2006 NL (Parlophone/EMI; 0-0946-3-62854-2 9) [5 May 2006; copy controlled]
CD5: 2006 AU (EMI; 0-0946-3-62854-2 9) [13 May 2006; copy controlled]

4. is this confirmed yet
DVD: 2006 NL (Parlophone/EMI; DVDR 6690/0-0946-3-62???-? ?) [NTSC?; copy controlled; does this really exist?]


5. is this confirmed at all or is it as the uk dvd release.
DVD: 2006 AU (EMI; 0-0946-3-62???-? ?) [13 May 2006; PAL; copy controlled]

??? Making Of Footage (video)

3: Seperate pressings.

5: I've never seen this. The DVD single released here is the European import.

Are you 100% sure?

I thought the AU singles were pressed in NL and it was just the sleeve that had the words "Made in Australia" printed on them.

If you have the AU CD single, what are the numbers etc on the reverse of the CD?

i am a complete completist so if it is any way different then thats good enough for me, but if you can tell me whatthe differences are that would be great, john.

no difference! You only can hear it!

sleeve and discs are 'Made in Australia'

depends on any Canadian or American, who will get a Stupid DVD in Canada or USA. If this will not happen, the entry will disappear in the future!

seems it's similar to the EU release! Still waiting for my copy (which should arrive in the next days) and hoping it's a 'AU' release - althrough with the known EU tracklisting.

I think EMI Australia had plans for including the "Making Of" on the Aussie DVD, then decided it was all too hard and just went with the standard tracklisting... which was a bit daft given we already got the extended Resurrectionist and Girls Don't Cry on the "international maxi" that was released here. After this, the "Making Of" appeared on the EMI Australia website.
