Pet Shop Boys 'Catalogue'

#1 Post by DavePSB »

I've just got an email from a nice chap at ThamesHudson, the company working on the forthcoming book 'Catalogue', advising that the image we currently believe to be the front cover for the book was in fact an early promotional brochure.

However, I was told: "I can't reveal the real jacket yet but it's very special and very PSB."
Chris: "I don't really like MP3's. It's like having a 1 megapixel digital camera."

Can´t wait to see it. Hopefully some new pic too.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

amazon.com has a new picture for the cover of the book. Apparently the cover will have Chris's picture from the Suburbia sleeve.

Think there will be two covers; one with Neil on the front and one with Chris...
Don't give me all your northern pain
Don't sell me New York in the rain
Let's leave our promises behind
Rewind and try again

Sigh. "Catalogue" is a record industry term for hi-quality defunct acts that sell forever..
Beatles, Led Zep..

The title makes me think PSb are throwing in the towel soon.

Much better than the first one.

Maybe in the backcover there is a Neil's picture.

British Amazon is doing a special "perfect partner" offer on Catalogue and The Italian Boy. Comedy!

I do like the new stripy Suburbia dust jacket. It is such an iconic image.

No they're not, it's Fundamental: SE that's the perfect partner.
