Relase (again) Missed oportunity
Is it just me, or is this not the best tracklisting? Just try it. Its annoying. The album would have been better and the reviews would also have reflected the talent.

Yes, and?patrick wrote:...says a guy who quotes Saturday Night Forever in his sig.
Or perhaps you can convince me what's so brilliant about Between Two Islands? - Until then I will stick to my conclusion that it's a forced sounding track that goes absolutely nowhere. It may in fact be the worst B-side PSB ever made.

wasn't I Didn't Get Where I Am Today recorded later? It doesn't sound quite like the Release stuff. It's an AMAZING song, though.
I would agree that Searching for the Face of Jesus should have been on there, as well as Always and Sexy Northerner.
I would have sequenced it like this:
Home and Dry
London
Always
I Get Along
Birthday Boy
The Samurai in Autumn
Sexy Northerner

I would pick the following 10 tracks, by the way. (Not because they're necessarily the best ones, but because they can form one consistent album).
Home And Dry
I Get Along
Birthday Boy

Love Is A Catastrophe

Wow I'm shocked it wasn't included on Release - it's a very strong song, and would have been an obvious choice as a single in my view.stats-freak wrote:
