OK, so I asked PSB last week (via Airside) if my site could be added to the links section on the official site. They (PSB) said no. Well no problem then. Out of curiosity, I checked the log files (I knew the time range) later to see what could Neil and/or Chris be discouraged by. It seems it was my tiny sheet music section (with only Jealousy included - presented there for obvious reasons [hint - see my site name]).
Well OK then, PSB are strict on copyrights etc I thought (I strongly doubt there could be any other reason for exclusion of my site.)
But just how surprised was I when I saw that another site was added into their links section, even though sheet music is included there, too (provided - what a conicidence - by me).
So what are they (PSB) after?
(I dare to say my site doesn't look terrible compared to what is already included there. Content? I have some unique features. And it's also in Czech - which could fit into the already existing German/French/Russian etc. links scheme. Anyway, as long as copyrights are not what PSB always decide upon, I don't understand why exactly my site doesn't deserve to be listed.)
Sorry for moaning, but one would expect some fairness from PSB in this matter. Anyone able to comment/help?
PS Well, looking on the bright side of it, I can after all at least put a big "officially unapproved" poster on my site.
Now I am upset (links on the official site) - your ideas?

Well if only I had these direct contacts! (I prefer not to communicate via Airside (again) for various reasons.)wizboy wrote:Maybe you should try to send an email to Chris or Neil, see if you can get their attention
At the moment, a letter / question to the fan club (Literally) is my last hope for their explanation. Not that big thing has happened, you know, but it's also about principles.

Edit: Maybe it was not clear for some from the original text, but it was Neil and/or Chris who gave NO for my site. Airside were only mediators.

hehe - completly smells like Neil...
This are the things why Redman failed to bring up a proper official PSB page.
Tomas: let them alone with their thourghts - try to keep your site up with all the plans you have and the ideas you will have in the future! YOU DON'T NEED TO BE ON any OFFICIAL LINK SECTION!

ahh and one more thing:
perhaps you will get some e-mail from an official company, which will forbid you bringing any further 'sheet music' material online again. They also will ask you to shut down your current 'sheet music' section for copyright reasons.
so better pray that this don't will happen, cause it's a high price for asking them to be on their link section.
