Maybe I'm old fashioned and possess bugger-all sense of rhythm, but since the late 90's, I've grown weary and less enthusiastic about Pet Shop Boys remixes. Before I moved to the United States and away from decent music stores, I would eagerly await the new single release and pick up every format, but I miss the days of the plain simple "extended versions" - It's a Sin and Where the Streets... being some great examples.
Thats my two cents worth.

Plus I'd like all the old 'Remix' releases, released on one CD please.
Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money) (Version Latina)
Opportunities (Dub For Money)
West End Girls (Untitled Mix)
West End Girls (The Shep Pettibone Mastermix)
Love Comes Quickly (Shep Pettibone Mastermix)
Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money) (Shep Pettibone Mastermix)
Always On My Mind (Remix)
It's A Sin (Remix)
Domino Dancing (Base Mix) .....I've never heard this
Heart (Remix)
Heart (Dub Mix)
It's Alright (The Tyree Mix)
Might have missed some?

Well put, the Further Listening cd should've been an mp3 disc with a track listing at least 30 times as long as the one they eventually ended up withMarcus wrote:IF they release such a thing, then please complete including ALL the mixes, promo only versions, lots of demos... Further Listening was totally inconsequent.

Nonono, no compromises on this. Can't stand the availability of only 128 kbps on iTunes store. I want proper CD quality.Avalon wrote:Well put, the Further Listening cd should've been an mp3 disc with a track listing at least 30 times as long as the one they eventually ended up withMarcus wrote:IF they release such a thing, then please complete including ALL the mixes, promo only versions, lots of demos... I totally completely agree with you, unfortunately.....RexMundi wrote:Maybe I'm old fashioned and possess bugger-all sense of rhythm, but since the late 90's, I've grown weary and less enthusiastic about Pet Shop Boys remixes.
