Odd but interesting to hear the "middle-eight" section twice, especially the second time where they have added some female backing vocals! I guess that bit is lifted from the live album?
I should say that Pet Shop Boys always get voted into the list whenever their latest single is played. I think the only reason that "Minimal" never entered was that it was never played because of the programme's annual "summer break". Note that this list is not based on sales figures, it is the listeners who every week vote for their five favourite songs from the show.
In the history of Trackslistan, that started in 1984, Pet Shop Boys is the 4th most successful act, based on the total of points! (Top 3: Madonna, Roxette, Kent.)
Counting the number of songs on the chart, I think that only Madonna is more successful.
I remember that "Flamboyant" got as high as #2 on Tracks, without ever entering the Swedish sales chart.
