Atlanta Concert & Set List

#1 Post by EarlG5 »

Saw your posts karmavore and Pani. Wanted to get something up regarding the show this past Thursday, October 19 in Atlanta. In a word FANTASTIC!!!

The crowd was excited and engaged. Neil commented a couple times about our enthusiasm. Most of the crowd were on their feet the entire second half.

Jade and I arrived about an hour early and apparently just missed Neil coming out of the stage door following their sound check. Three guys standing by the door were able to get a number of items signed.

Following the showing, we returned to the stage door - along with about 50 other people and were rewarded with an appearance by Neil, Chris, Sylvia and all the dancers. The boys and Sylvia were all signing items. Neil posed for a picture or two. I got my "Fundamentalist" shirt signed by Neil.

I'll post pictures later to Flickr or Kodak Gallery as well as provide a link.

For those that have been asking here is the complete set list from the Atlanta show:

Psychological
Left to my Own Devices
I’m With Stupid
Suburbia
Can You Forgive Her?
Minimal
Shopping
Rent
Dreaming of the Queen
Heart
Opportunities
Integral
Numb
Se a Vida E
Domino Dancing
Flamboyant
Home and Dry
Always on My Mind
Where the Streets Have No Name
West End Girls
Sodom and Gommorah Show
So Hard
It’s a Sin
Go West

If you're on the fence about attending this tour - don't miss it!

Brian

Do they play exactly the same set every night or has there been some other songs played on some other nights?

Good question. The setlist looks stiff like a Kraftwerk concert one. Don't they get bored with playing '80s songs?

Other than encores, isn't that the PSB way? Why program everything and then not play stuff?

1 hour 40 minutes. The Boys started about 15 minutes late at 20:15, took a 20 minute intermission, then ended the show at 10:15.

Here are the Atlanta photos. Lots of bad ones, but a few gems. I think there's a nice one of Neil AND Chris. Chris is a hard one to photograph. I'll go back later to clean out the blurry ones. Hope you all enjoy!
