Classic PSB April Fools: Introspective List Circa 1995

#1 Post by ChoonHound »

Anyone remember the post we all fell for citing the forthcoming B-Sides album would be called something odd? I thought it was "April Fools" backwards, but I remember for sure...

Am I dreaming?

Lucas.

It has been running since the early 90's. :P

Whatever happened to everyone from Introspective anyway? Obviously TheGardner made it here, and Markie still has his PSB site, so I guess he's around. I remember people like Mats and Thanos very well though, where did they end up? And no doubt plenty more I've forgotten too.

It's a horrible same... I just saw 24 Party People again. Introspective reminded me Factory/Hacienda in a weird way.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

I was on the list mid 90s. Mats posts here once in a while, doesn't he?

Yeah, I joined at the end of my first year at Uni, which must have been summer 1990. I certainly remember on-list discussion about the Behaviour release, anyway...

Wow, nearly 17 years ago.

Damn Dave, you're MUCH younger than me - how the hell did you join the list/net so early???

Mats is here from time to time! ClyCly also, and Thanos seems has gone (but some people still think it could be Zeus On The Loose), same with Mike (Fiorenza). Debbie also look around here from time to time. Don (Ackerman) still is on the list, as three or four other oldtimers.

But much of the old crowd got a life and their priorities changed!

I am still a member of Introspective, have been since 1995 (Johan). Amanda was an early member too - she also used to post here a lot.

I think the list must have lost most of its members during the great Durst wars some years back now.
It was a cough that carried him off. It was a coffin they carried him off in.

I was on there from late 96, and stopped posting sometime in 2000. Thanos - what a legend. Does anyone know what happened to Sharon Russek? The crazy Mexican woman who 'hired a hitman' and tried to have thanos 'murdered'
just a bad loser

Wow, I didn't know it was still going.

Also, that Durst guy, I remember him. I forgot his name though. I just remember him being an obnoxious Yank, a bit like Glenn, only much worse ;)

I remember organising a survey of all the PSB remixes around 1998 or so, it got a great response that; I wonder if the results are still knocking around anywhere? Maybe I have a copy...
