Siobhan Donaghy - Ghosts
Came out last week and went in the UK charts at 92

I don't normally bother with charts but I can't believe an album as good as this can do so badly. I can't really say how much I adore this album, it's just... everything about is perfect! The music, the lyrics, the photography (done by Floria Sigismondi) everything...
Favourite tracks: Don't Give It Up, Sometimes, 12 Bar Acid Blues, Coming Up For Air, Goldfish and Ghosts (when you play that track backwards you hear what's in my sig).
Anyway, I highly recommend it!

I like it very much. Kind of Far Eastern Siouxsie Sioux meets Kate Bush with Enya popping round for tea. Wasn't she a Sugababe?

Yes, between 1998 and 2001. She was replaced by Heidi Range.

I may give this a listen. I quite like the idea of Kate Bush with Enya popping round for tea.

New ones from The Polyphonic Spree and Super Furry Animals. Both wonderful records and highly recommended if you're into that whole psychedelic thing. And some synthpop genius in the form of Depeche Mode & Erasure, Playing the Angel and Chorus respectively.
