I just purchased the madonna confessions tour dvd and was totally blown away by not only by the beginning of the concert but how she used "I feel Love", very effective.

kylie did it in her Fever tour in 2002 combined with lightyears, not sure if theres a youtube link somewhere with that, very cool. Madge's opener in CT was a visual stunner, no doubt

Duran Duran sung the song in their Astronaut tour! I was happy, since I Feel Love in one of my favorite songs ever (along with Blue Monday)

I've always thought it a shame the Pet Shop Boys never worked with Giorgio Moroder. The closest they got to that was working with Harold Faltermeyer....

Some Speculation is for me one of the most boring PSB tracks. It's way too long, I don't like Neil's falsetto voice in it and hardly anything happens. PSB covering I Feel Love; fine with me, but let's not mix it with Some Speculation.

Each to their own, I guess. I personally love Some Speculation and think it's one of the most haunting tracks they've ever made. It would definitely be in my PSB top 20.

Oh, and as for I Feel Love, it's a great track but it's been covered/sampled/ripped off so many times that I think it should be left alone now.

For me, "Some Speculation" is one of the greatest tracks from second CD of "Alternative". I like almost everithing about this song, especially it's substantial lenght (but I really want an extended mix of it) and obscure frame of mind that this song usually brings to me. Especially for the last months .
Personally I consider idea about mix it with "I Feel Love" is great. But! If this song will ever be covered and recorded by Boys, then only Neil must sing on it, without invitation of Sylvia or (Oh, God forbid!) Sam-Taylor...
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

Not a track i play alot Some Speculation for some reason, i think it's that there's not really any song there, but after playing it again now, i wish there was more dreamy psb tracks like this, Neil's voice is so perfectly blissful on this, and for me this is the TRUE psb electro sound they should have done far more of.

And I Feel Love : leave it alone, it's a pure synth classic and should not be touched.

i think Some Speculation is a sexy track, there this one bit post 2 mins, when there is this instrumental bit which is soo hypnotic !! i love it, when psb do 100% dance like this or relentless project...

Imagine Neil singing I Feel Love with Jimmy Sommerville - Neil doing Marc Almond's part.

I Feel Love is one of the foundation stones of modern pop music. I think it is as important as She Loves You and Heartbreak Hotel.
