How about abusive posters be punished rather than everyone via a sin bin situation.

So for example, if someone abuses another poster (qualified by Steve), they could be suspended from the site for a week.

The forum software doesn't accommodate this facility and even if it did, I for one don't have the time to enforce such a polict. All I (repeatedly, until blue in the face) ask is for people to think before they post. If you know your views are going to cause offence and likely spark an argument, don't post them. Besides which, this isn't a political forum.

So basicly Danny can keep abusing anyone he likes and nothing can be done about it

You're twisting my words. This forum is run as hands off asis possible. I'd like to think we're all adults and for the most part I don't want to interfere with people's discussions. If everyone were to take heed of my advice above we'd have no problem.

Yeah i get that, but in reality, that doesn't happen, thus Danny can get away with abusing anyone he likes without punishment.

You have a hard job trying to keep things good, just trying to help mate.
