Please go to main official Site ...Check out the original long version of "God willing" and the unreleased "A powerful friend" and "Tall thin men" by going to the PRODUCT section of this site and then clicking on "Exclusive tracks". http://www.petshopboys.co.uk

Right, this is interesting.VERY interesting.
This Minimal mix is different from the one that turned up on this forum recently: it's about a minute and a half longer!

And what to think about the extra info that's attached to the Tall Thin Men mp3? It says album title: Further Listening 1998-2000 :D

Love God Willing.

Love the full God Willing. What a shame this wasn't on the album. The edit really makes no sense at all, even less in the middle of the album.

This is the third version as there is a 1.18 edit that was on early promo CDRs of the album when it had the original (and better) running order.

Wonderful surprise to hear A Powerful Friend. It's obvious why this would have sounded out of place on D3 tho why they never released it as a B-side is a total mystery.

I guess Love Life (Demo for Alcazar) is next....

Me too, really epice song. It's a luck that they've chosen the powerful My Night to open the musical and not Tall Thin Men: the last is a good song but to open a pop opera like Closer To heaven it's needed something glamourous like My Night. Sorry Minimal Mix is a really good mix even if I prefer the Max Mix.
After all this tracks in few days, I'm startin' to think that Mr. Tennant and Mr. Lowe are preparin' something for Christmas like a couple of Further Listening... I hope for this. That the power of the new EMI deal can give them the strenght. :D

Don`t like these songs. Powerful friend should be called lameful friend. They taken out the energy of the song.
The sorry mix is crap and never liked god willing. The longer version isn`t better because half of the song is animal noises which makes as long as the album version.

I like Powerful Friend, it's strange that they've released only now it on thier web site: a song written in 1982, 25 years ago. I maybe wrong but I'd like a new album and tour with the Release tour posse: Refoy, Hayes and Adams: outstanding!

This version of 'God Willing' is awesome. I guess it was the version originally intended as the intro of the album, instead of an interlude.
