I think that's rather good.
I went fishing with Salvador Dali; he used a dotted line.

The winner of the danish contest is crap, but the song that came in third was good (and should obviously have won) - here the latter is:

It's bloody brilliant. Good on the people of Ireland for having the sense of humour to vote Dustin in. He's a legend - has had about three number one albums already!

Here he is performing the song. Love the toilet seat!

Hey No Muscle Mary! Don't worry...you don't have any alter ego in Dublin :D .Damn I see what you mean...just noticed your avatar!Sorry!!

I think it's great that Dustin was picked. It is saying a lot when this was the best of the bunch! We've been sending turkeys to the Eurovision for the past few years, and now we get to send a real one (albeit a puppet!) :D :D Can't wait to hear what Terry Wogan has to say about this!!!

I saw a piece in a paper where Terry Wogan was saying the song has his backing!

So this year, we need everyone to vote for Turkey!

I'll agree that our entries have been shameful - even if half of Europe fancied Johnny Logan there for a while. But then I think most countries' entries are shameful.
We can take credit for one thing though - we did have the best interval act ever in Riverdance. I know the thing has been done to death now, but when it was performed for the first time ever, it was breathtaking.
I remember back in the eighties, Germany won with this awful song called 'A Little Peace' by Nicole. My mother tortured our household by playing it to infinity. *cringe*

Now on my internal jukebox. Grr!

I love the Father Ted episode where they are chosen to represent Ireland so Ireland can lose and therefore not have to host Eurovision yet again.
