Possible Single And Album News

According to someone very reliable on a non PSB related message board with very good EMI links has said that the new album is ready to go with a single due out in February with album in March. He also said an official announcement would happen soon.

I think they should do a prepone and get something in during the slow charts of january, the few thousands fans they have left who actually buy their stuff could possibly ensure a #1

I'm still blown away that we are getting another CD so close to fundamental.

I find it hard to believe they would have the CD finished in october and then just sit on it for a whole bunch of months.

nowadays,thats not a good thing to do, as the longer a CD is unreleased the more likely hood someone....and I always wonder who they are, studio people? release tracks on the internet.God bless them. but from the PSB point of view it cant be a great idea.

I hope they do what eminem did pushed up the release of his CD by months to stop that from happening.

Are you forgetting that Fundamental was finished by December 2005, but wasn't released until May 2006?

I didnt know that. I'm hopefull though they will release it before may though seeing as they are finishing the recording at least in october to fundamentals dec. its always better to start a tour with new songs when people have at least heard the new CD.

I would imagine that the Pets and EMI still have lots to do before the album is ready for release. It isn't just a matter of releasing it as soon as recording is finished. Haven't they hinted that they are going to tour to support it too? I know we are desperate to hear the new songs, but these things take time.

Already wrote this on the German forum!
I think, the boys are in time with the new album and already annuonced this to EMI, so they could plan their release schedule. The new 'product' will be mixed up by November and given to EMI and for a preview to some friends in December I assume.

So all in all, it's on EMI, when they will release it all! The first rumours say Feb/Mar and so I'm going for a Mar/Apr release.
