Re: Desert Island Decades: Your Ten Essential Tracks

#46 Post by PSBForTheMasses »

Yes, I know this topic is very old; almost from another age ano I know it actually spans decades. But this is the closest thing that I could find about top ten PSB tracks.

But I just revived it just to congratulate myself that after so many years, a new PSB song broke into my top ten, say, since 2006. Does that make me a half fan, that I could not find any top ten material since Minimal, and before it, since Bilingual? Have I failed to evolve in my musical tastes, stuck in the past and nostalgia?

1. ALWAYS ON MY MIND
2. It couldn't happen here
3. This must be the place I waited years to leave
4. One Thing Leads to Another
5. Let’s Make Lots of Money (OpportuniteS)
6. I am not Scared
7, Left to My Own Devices (Introspective version)
8. King’s Cross
9, Too Many People
10. DECIDE tie with Minimal tie with Discoteca.

I feel Brick England could be somewhere up there if it was a proper PSB song...

"Unprofessional? Us? Sir. Might I with due respect remind you that Mister Vandemar and myself burned down the City of Troy? We brought the Black Plague to Flanders. We have assassinated a dozen kings, five popes, half a hundred heroes and two accredited gods. Our last commission before this was the torturing to death of an entire monastery in sixteenth century Tuscany. We are utterly professional." - Mr Croup
