Finally got the phone call from hospital to say I am to be admitted next Monday (27th) for the first operation I have to have. Didn't think I'd be this excited, in fact when they first explained what they would have to do to fix me I was dreading it. Leaving me to stew for nearly 3 months, the effect it's had on me taking anti-biotics daily for nearly 5 months, the pain and discomfort I've had to put up with, having no money and a return to work being pushed further and further back the longer they kept me waiting means I am actually very happy it has finally come about.

Good news! Ok, the road to recovery will be long, but at least you are finally going to get to that stage. Good luck.

Great news! Fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly and you can get back to a normal life as soon as possible!
