Which are the better lyrics?
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]

Re: LYRICS BATTLE OF THE DAY
FoF, you're royally taking the piss at this stage. This is yet another pointless poll. On its own, reasonable people would turn a blind eye but you are littering the board with gratuitous pointlessness on a grand scale to the detriment of the user experience of many other members.
Time to cut it out now. Somebody opened a poll to slag you off here the other night - I shut it down because it's bad form to target a poster in that manner - and I thought you'd get the vague hint that quite a few people are seriously fed up with most of your "contributions". Obviously, that was lost on you.
I'm not getting into a tennis match on this. If you carry on in the same manner, you'll be kicked.
Drico.

Please do it, Drico. He's crowding out all the interesting topics with his ridiculous polls.

Re: LYRICS BATTLE OF THE DAY
I wasn`t that wrong creating a thread suggesting to stop the mad threads
and polls of Mr. Fithofforth. Now even Drico aggress on this.
But it is really sad that someone wrote "If any threads should be frowned on, it's hectoring threads like this"
Refering to my stopping firthofforth from posting thread.
These are really really really useless threads and i think he is taking the mickey with creating such poll and wants
to wind up people. He is probaly Mr. Durst.
But my poll gets closed and 5of4 can open thousand redicolous threads thats really unbelievable.
My poll was meant to be funny thats why i used three the same options.

Re: LYRICS BATTLE OF THE DAY
I never said your thread was wrong - it was a plea rather than an attack which is why I left it open in the OT forum. However, your poll was an invitation to the entire forum to slag off a member - a virtual public hanging. It's needless. We've never accepted "personal" threads in this Community for obvious reasons.b@man wrote:I wasn`t that wrong creating a thread suggesting to stop the mad threads

Your poll was closed for the reason above. FoF's individual threads don't break any rules. Collectively, they could certainly be seen as spamming. That's why I'm trying to find a solution while being as fair as possible.b@man wrote:But my poll gets closed and 5of4 can open thousand redicolous threads thats really unbelievable.

I don't even know what song the second lyric line comes from. Abstain from voting!
By the way, why don't you include these lyrics:
They surely are the best, are they not? They're raising an army
in the North
from York Minster
to the Firth of Forth

I know I've not been on this site for very long, and my opinion proberbly does'nt matter. However...Im going to give it the way I see it.
Firth of Forth............ basically, I would say 99% of the people on this site...... dont know who you are, dont care who you are, have no dislike or like for you. You seem to engage yourself in your own self belief that you are " the oracle" of all things P.S.B. I have read alot of the tripe you have written, especially the in depth comments on: re-mixes, singles, album songs, musical equipment, etc, etc, etc. Does anyone really care what YOU think....... ?
I guess we are all to blame, Im sure most of us click on to your post's...just to see what crap your coming out with, however...Im not clicking onto any post you put on the site again....... how quickly would you go away if no one responded to/ took part in anything you post????
Firth of Forth is an annoying little itch, you have to scratch it sometimes for some relief, but you soon realise, if you ignore it....it will go away.
Now I've got that of my chest............. lets start a "poll"
Which album song would you say best describes a song that you once heard when you was sad and happy, that you can remember all the words to, that you have seen PSB play live, that you thought would make a great re-mix, but you wasnt to keen on the producer and you can buy it on e-bay for £2.99, that when played backwards actually plays a different PSB track that you thought could have used some more string pads in, that you thought Neil sang with feeling, without feeling, that you once played to your girlfriend / boyfriend who didnt even know who the Pet Shop Boys are..but who are now a bigger fan than you, and what opinion did they have about "Please" did they think it was as good as "Very" but in what way did they think it was better, if indeed they did, and if they did, did you then tell them that their opinion although valid was infact wrong and that they should listen to Actually before making any judgement on "Please & Very" although you would agree that the first Disco album was slightly better than Disco 2 / 3, but hold on a minute, did you not realise that the producer of "Very" didnt produce "Yes" so in your own words describe the feeling you get when you listen to a re-mix of a P.S.B track that didnt have a very good bass line, not forgetting that they proberbly didnt write the track in the first place and really if the truth be known Chris does'nt do anything and Neil is really straight and has bene married for 5 years and has 2 children one called Domino, the other Dancing, which ofcourse is why America went "off" the Pet Shop Boys as it showed two semi naked men fighting in the sea over a girl, the girl in the said video who by the way, is very attractive, is now married, I believe she gave birth to twin daughters.... who are now appearing live with Neil and Chris on their long awaited Tour of the World..., although we are not yet sure what the tracks they will be playing on the tour... but hopefully there will be a pointless poll to decide which songs they should / could / must play, then we can follow that with the best song on the tour set list...Im sure it wont be anything from the Please / Actually / Very / Behaviour/ era, as the remix of two divided by zero, followed by "In the night" wont go down well with the "new" fans. So in your opinion, what new flavour Walkers crisps do you think Neil and Chris like?

Re: LYRICS BATTLE OF THE DAY
Oh, well, now that we are at it... I have to say I don't dislike Firth. He writes some weird stuff, yes, but that only matters as much as you want to. I don't think it's that bad to have some random polls over here, specially in these quiet times. Yeah, he should calm down a bit, but I don't see anybody bleeding or loosing their jobs, or the forum really crashing down because of him.
We all have to carry our shit over our shoulders, some bear with that better than others, thats for sure.

Re: LYRICS BATTLE OF THE DAY
I post alot, there is no doubt, but it's your mind that makes the leap that because I post a lot that I believe I'm some "oracle" of PSB knowledge. I am not, nor do I claim to be. In fact, if you do read all my posts, you'll know such things as I only recently purchased Performance on laserdisc and have only recently synced up Battleship P soundtrack with the movie. Now, you're free to complain that my posts are too many and lack quality. However, what is this forum other than a place mainly to discuss what people think about PSB music and related output? If you want news, check the main site.Firth of Forth............ basically, I would say 99% of the people on this site...... dont know who you are, dont care who you are, have no dislike or like for you. I'm glad to see there are some people here who also don't know who Durst is. Just because I'm new and I tick some people off they assume I must be some guy from the past who also ticked some people off. If you are suspicious that I'm this guy, okay, that may be reasonable. But to those that insist that I am, that's just foolishness. I've even gone to the trouble to prove that I'm not him. But it seems that some here, such as PB and Undertaker take joy in trying to provoke me as much as possible by telling me I am this person.
Let me all explain to you what my deal is: 1. I don't really dislike anyone on this forum, though I am certainly sick of the people calling me Durst when I obviously am not. I do believe those people are also valuable contributers to this board when they aren't slagging off Erasure just for laughs. 2. I like PSB, I get manic, I post alot. My posts are usually meant to be serious, though sometimes not, and, yes, are generally frivolous. I will not make any excuse. I just want to make it clear that I'm not here to f$ck with anyone.
