My first album track is ready - I need your help !

#1 Post by MetropoliS »

Hi!

I have just finished the final version of a track called "Hold On" which will be track #2 of my first album "Misunderstanding", to be released by the end of this year.

This is a completly new version of an old song - maybe some of you do remember - lol

I'd be very pleased to have your opinion about this version, before I send it to the final mixing process.

The demo track can be listened here:

Thanks for taking time to hear it!

Couldn't get it to play.
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

Sounds good to me, but I'm not an expert in this type of music.

Hi Rick, I'm not too keen on the heavy vocorder intro, but it really kicks off into a really good synthy tune after that ! I've played it about 3 times now so that has to say something about it's catchyness! :yeah:

Vocals and intro need polishing up but the idea and synth lines are pretty good.

It is only a demo, isn't it?

The arrangement is very good and the synth are catchy but i don't like vocoder sounds in general :-) You very talented :-)
