Mona Lisa

#1 Post by York Minster »

Do you actually like the Mona Lisa?
I know it's supposed to be one of the greatest paintings of all time. But when you look at it, do you actually like it? Does it do anything for you? Would you hang it in your home (a reproduction)? What's so great about it outside of a technical sense?
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

If this question doesn't interest you, then leave it alone. And are you calling the Mona Lisa rubbish?

Haven't we already covered pointless polls? Please, let's not make us go through it all over again.

No, these kind of threads/polls are rubbish.

Exactly, leave it alone. Better not clicking any threads opened by you
anymore. You really seem to have a lot of time on your hands.

Good, please don't. You post a bunch of pictures and list books that interest you. Is it rubbish? Is it because you have time on your hands? The reason this is slated as rubbish is because it doesn't interest people here. And yet, it's a very worldly topic, hardly esoteric. It's hardly even a poll, it's more a discussion topic with a poll attached. Just remember though Pani, that I don't call any of your artwork or other posts rubbish if I'm not interested in them or blame you for taking up server space.

I don't think I'm online on here all day long posting such massive account
of weird polls or obviously nonsense topics like drunk girlfriends like you
use to do all the time. My books are in the thread where they belong, as
others also use to do.
I don't open one thread after another for every whatever I'm just thinking
about.
To me it seems you are either very bored or just attention seeking or both.
Sorry for being annoyed by it by now. I don't look at your topics again and
keep my mouth shut.
It's just my opinion and feelings but I'm sure I'm not the only one. No harm
done ...

You take one extreme example. I apologized that the thread I posted when I was drunk was innappropriate. But you do post what you are interested in. You chide me for being intersted in this painting, but your pictures are not a problem. This post is actually neither attention seeking, nor because I'm bored (though I may have more time on my hands than you). It's because I'm extremely curious about the world, and moreso, the social world and the way people form and hold opinions. That's why I post so many polls. I'm also active on such sites as misterpoll and yahoo answers (not under firthofforth). I won't apologize for having this interest. If you're main point is I post too many topics, I'm willing to listen. But you're calling this rubbish is foolish. Some people in this forum have a low tolerance for things that don't interest them. Whereas it's ok to have a thread about OMD in the off topics, I imagine if I opened a thread about the new Insane Clown Posse tour, I would be ostracized.

It's the first time I said anything, normally I don't and try to ignore.

A lack of interest isn't the point really and I think you know exactly
what I mean. End of story.
