Recently I defended Littlebummerboy in a thread, BigBoy, whatever... but when I came on this morning and saw polls all over the place, and then a thread DEDICATED to link to those polls.... this is where I draw the line for myself.
This is not a PSB forum anymore. This is BigBoy's forum.
If someone will PM me if/when this is all over with I'd appreciate it, I get messages about PM's to my email.
I tried to be nice and understanding, even supportive, but to be dead honest, between BigBoy and Satana's... this place doesn't have the appeal it used to when Drico and Zeus were some of the biggest posters.
Not a dramatic exit as I plan to be back, but just voicing my opinion on something that is most definitely out of control and withdrawing my remarks on how it's ok for BigBoy and Satanas to run their mouths all the time.

The polls are there for a good reason, which I'm not able to go into right now. The fact that many people on the board don't visit the OT forum means to get them noticed, a link is necessary. Which, ridiculously, usually gets moved to OT anyway, completely defeating the object.

I know I'm not the only who feels this way, just take a look at the list of posters that are no longer here. They are gone for a reason and I doubt the PSB have anything to do with it. In fact I'm more that willing to bet another forum exists where all the old posters post to avoid this place and what it has become.
I was able to handle this until the PM's to me to go check out the forum's largest thread and the 6 billion apparently "there for a reason" polls. It's bad enough they are there at all but then we're urged on through PM's to go CHECK them out?
I really have to think that BigBoy is not one person, but an army of posters to be able to come up with so much.
It's just how I feel and yes I know I have the option to avoid threads started by BigBoy and Satanas. I will be doing so and normally do. Thanks tips.
BTW, do any of you, who have posted here, actually give a shit if I stop here for a while? I don't think any of you care, so why bother posting here? Just to sling your mud? Another thing here I'm tired of.

But I just check this place everyday for the latest info on psb and if I find a topic thats interesting I will post, otherwise I ignore it.
I was a little surprised to see over 20 topics/polls started by Little bummer boy yesterday, but I just ignored them.

I don't think there's a "secret" forum anywhere, but I must admit I have often considered starting one.

I agree that too many genuinely interesting threads get reduced to uninspired sexual innendo by people who are obviously not getting any, but the recent polls are fairly interesting.
It's sad that some folk have chosen to leave, but that is really a bit of a cop-out. IMO people who helped build, finance and make this place interesting left far too easily.
The 'Moderators' (who ever they are these days?) know how people feel. I'm almost on the side of the people who post utter nonsense when you get a Moderator who doesn't even introduce him/herself and instead just moves threads about. StevePSB appears every now and again, tells a few people off then goes back to whatever keeps him from moderating. Dave PSB is STILL listed as a moderator- Why? YFU did a grand job for a long period and it's sad he no longer really takes part, but maybe he should tell people why?
I think people are getting used to the pointless posts now and just excepting that no-one will do anything actively against it.
I'm as liberal as the next man, but this is fundamentally a PSB board and particularly on the PSB Related side, I think the people with their names up in lights should be making sure things stay concurrent.

Well.. I don't know you. But I think I can speak for most people here that we're here for a reason, namely find out more about PSB and discuss PSB with other fans or just any topic, with other fans. Does anyone really know someone else in here? Except from those few who've been to that charity gig a while ago (of which the name now slips my mind) and have been reliving their experiences with new and old acquantances (correct?) here over and over again...

Without wanting to sound offensive this forum isn't exactly a teenie penpall club or a dating place where everyone is eager to find details about everyone else's life. I'm not here to get to know people really, unless I find out someone may live in my vincinity, which would interest me, I guess.
I don't mind that I don't really know anybody here and actually I'm not interested in whether you have girlfriends or husbands and how your kids are doing or how your dog is after you had to bring him to the vet.
And the other way around, I don't care people don't know and may thus end up having the wrong opinion of me...
Having said that, it doesn't mean I don't like anyone in here. I actually kinda like everyone's contribution: ranging from serious on-topic to absurde off-topic, and anything between arty-smarty intelligent to absolute moronic.
Guess what I'm trying to say is: don't get all touchy when you feel people don't know you or don't seem to care, cos for me at least this forum is just about picking up some things about PSB and have some shallow, but good fun with other members!
