Lyric help - "Give me two weeks and I'll adore you"

A friend texted me asking me what song has the lyric "Give me two weeks and I'll adore you". He thought it was a PSB song.

I am quite sure I've heard this lyric very recently. I only listen to my ipod in the car but I've checked everything it's played in the past two weeks and I can't find anything. I feel it was a male voice (I suspect I either have a cover of it or it's part of a mashup). Since my ipod freezes a couple times a week it's entirely possible it was during one of the few times I had the radio on while the ipod was rebooting.

Is anyone familiar with this lyric, or something similar?

It sounds like David Bowie from one of his early songs but cant remember which song. I'll google his early stuff to see it twigs.

I've done lyric searches left and right "two days" "two weeks" etc and nothing comes up.

Sounds like a misheard lyric from The Former Enfant Terriblè....

Could they be mistaking it for "My eyes adored you"? Frankie Valli? I was tortured at a young age with this music. (Mind you, that track isn't too bad). I got my own back when I got older and into PSB's!
