Just got the new Killers album. Haven't digested it fully yet.
I was listening to Out of My Mind, thinking the production sounded solid, and towards the end there is a vibrating synth sound that jumps up octave by octave that sounds straight from Fluorescent. Checked the booklet...Stuart Price did additional production. Old trick, but still sounds good.
Anyone have the new album. Thoughts? Battle Born, their last album, is hands down my favorite.

And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

Not got the New one yet. I found Battle Born a bit “meh”. If Brandon’s solo album morphed with Battle Born then that would have been epic. Both albums for me have about four or five sold tracks on them

This is legit The Desired Effect x Battle Born, that's actually a really solid description. A bit of Hot Fuss and Sam's Town, too.tottenhammattspurs wrote: Tue 03 Oct 2017, 11:48 am Not got the New one yet. I found Battle Born a bit “meh”.
