I think that its projects like this that keeps them going. As Chris once said, it would be utterly boring just trotting out albums all the time, it’s projects like this that keeps their creative juices flowing.

I just hope they'll release it on cd as well. They seem pretty active this autumn but too bad I can't afford to travel to UK right now.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

Love a good instrumental from them... so this pleases me!

It's a good story, too.

Guys, this won’t be released as a Pet Shop Boys record. Hence all the references to Tennant/Lowe. This will be their next Tennant/Lowe release following Battleship Potemkin and TMIT. The artwork says ‘composers Tennant/Lowe’, the official production credits list Tennant/Lowe and the article is headed Tennant/Lowe. The only reference to PSB is explaining who Tennant/Lowe are!

I love all of these Tennant/Lowe side projects!!! The production is set in the 80s so I wonder if the music will be 80s styled???

Exciting stuff.

Congratulations you have scored 7 on the mentioning Tennant/Lowe scale. You win a rare, unscratched copy of Disco 2.

Crikey didn't see this coming.

As an ex-Leicester lad myself ... I might be tempted!
As the B&Q advert says - "DO IT"! I used to go to Leicester for the Hospital's. We hadn't been for years and had to go again last year - we could not get over how much it has all changed.

Tennant/Lowe IS Pet Shop Boys. Help me from TMIT is as much Pet Shop Boys as Later tonight.
This is a song about boys and girls. You hear it playing all over the world.

Haha, I’m a bit disappointed in myself really as I was trying to get at least 8 or 9 Tennant/Lowes in but I’d run out of ways of saying Tennant/Lowe so 7 Tennant/Lowes it is, which is better than no Tennant/Lowes at all. Don’t you think?
Its taken me all of my life to find you

The movie is about an Asian and Englishman getting it on. Seems as though the boys are going camp, doing Cabaret and this.

To be honest I'm not particularly excited by these side projects. I'd trade them for a shorter wait in between studio albums any time. It's good though to see that they are active on different fronts.
I agree. I'm not as interested in these projects as the battleship potemkin or Alan turing one, but still curious what it will sound like.

Just asking this makes me feel old but was My Beautiful Launderette shown on Channel 4 with the red triangle in the corner of the screen?

The red triangle meant the program had very adult themes - normally seeing a knob or a flash of lady bits!

It’s the sort of thing I watched on my Sinclair TV under the covers when I really should have been asleep! Blimey a 2” TV. Just remembered that!

You see two blokes kiss in the movie. Guess that's adult themed.

Never heard this before. Interesting. Wonder if Tennant/Lowe is credited?
