It's the number 4 position in the Sales chart that should be celebrated. This represents how the chart used to be compiled before the inclusion of streaming, and it's a long time since PSB have charted this high on it. Dreamland already peaked at 38 on this chart, on downloads only, before the physical formats were released last week, so the jump up to the Top 5 shows there is still demand for a product you can hold in your hand, although the chart positions in the vinyl/physical charts are misleading on their own.
Could we guess the chart position taking into account physical sales this week (if it was released at the same time it was included on streaming) + dowloads (first week)?.

Do you think PSB could have a Top 10 there?.
The problem is that the download/streaming version was originally released on a Wednesday (11 September), so there were only two days of downloads/streams to count before it entered the chart on the Friday (13 September), rather than a full week. Dreamland still managed to reach 56 on the Download chart and 57 on the Sales chart after two days, but was nowhere to be seen on the Streaming chart.

If all formats including physical had been released on the same day, on a Friday, it probably would have charted high on the Sales chart (no streams counted) possibly higher than its current peak of 4, but it's difficult to say what position as we don't know the actual sales figures on each format, or of the other singles released at the same time.

In terms of charting on the overall Top 100 (including streaming), if all formats had been released at the same time, it may have charted somewhere, but I severely doubt it would been a Top 40 position, as the amount of streams logged for the songs by the most popular artists of today will vastly outnumber those for Pet Shop Boys, even with a bit of a boost from Years and Years fans.

I had a quick Google around, and back in 2016 the number of streams logged each week in the UK was approx 990 million! This figure will probably be a lot higher now. The chart rules try to compensate by stating that 150 streams equals 1 sale. 'Shape of You' by Ed Sheeran had 14.2 million streams in one week back in 2017, which converts to 94,666 sales, enough to be number 1 on streams alone. To get into the official Top 40, on average you need about 8000 sales.
Ed sucks.

Dreamland has dropped from 4 to 76 on the sales chart (no streaming) this week. Also down from 26 and out of the top 100 on the download chart, down from 1 to 3 in the physical chart, and down from 1 to 7 in the vinyl chart.

So according to https://kworb.net/, the highest daily Youtube performing PSB song is It's A Sin (53000 views) and this is rougply equal to 353 sales units. 7*353 = appr. 2500 sales units weekly. Add figures from other streamlining channels. Isn't it at least to be on top 200? (It sometimes reaches 75000 views a day).

Also falls #24 to #41 in the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs after peaking at #21 two weeks ago.
