Heart (Remix), 12" version vs, Aurally CD version

#1 Post by Oznerol » Sun 01 Dec 2019, 6:00 pm

After all this years I just noticed that the Heart Remix from the (unnoficial) Aurally CD is 45 seconds shorter that the mix on the Remix 12"...and not just a fade out.
As the Aurally CDs include all official mixes from unknown but supposedly reliable sources... Can they be considered as a two different official versions, or the CD includes just some kind of unofficial edit??
Any info about this will be appreciated...

Questions & Answers:

Q: Where is the difference between the 12" remix version of "Heart" and that 8:10 version on Aurally 1? Both versions are called "Remix"
A: The difference are the passages 5:41 to 8:22 on the vinyl and 5:41 to 7:36 on Aurally 1. Seems the Aurally version was shortened because of the entire CD-length

Thanks Wish but...
So it was shortened by the guy who compilled the unofficial CD?? Does it means that is not an official version? Just a guess?
Still looking for a better answer...if there is one...

Having looked around I can only find this edit on Aurally so it must be an unofficial edit and agree with Wish, probably to fit all the songs onto the disc. But no, I have no evidence to back that up except that it doesn't appear on any of the officially released or promo versions of Heart as far as I can tell.
