Just got my package I pre-ordered from the Official Store yesterday. Unfortunately, this is the second time that the vinyl records show up from the Official Store with creases in one of the corners. I understand that international shipping of vinyls is somewhat "begging for things to go wrong", but still, it should be possible to use stronger shipping boxes.
Now, the creases aren't huge. I know I can return them, but then I need to pay for the the shipping fees to send them back (and then hope that the next shipping survives better). As I said, the creases aren't huge, they are just annoying. But not annoying enough to go through the hassle of returning the records.
What are your experiences using the Official Store? Especially from people living outside of the UK?

Re: Official Store shipping and packaging
Greetings,
I've had certain things damaged in transit - the only thing bad enough to warrant to re-send was the Leaving 12", and they were happy to see a photo of the damage, and didn't ask for me to post the dodgy 12" back around the world.

You can't trust whether anything is going to arrive in a timely manner, 4-6 months late (especially Relentless, and instances of Annually for some reason), or never at all.Asmodean wrote: Wed 08 May 2024, 6:44 am What are your experiences using the Official Store? Amazon shipments rarely arrive without a dog-eared corner on a book or album sleeve. Honestly I don't think it's happening during shipping, I think it's already like that before it's dispatched, where they have to store and handle the product and likely the people who work there don't give two hoots about any of it.
