Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
Re: Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
I voted No but would love another one solely for the potential b-sides.

Given the Expanded edition news, my money is still on Schlager as a pre-Christmas single.

If there will be a fifth single, it could be "Adrenaline". "Bilingual (Special Edition)" also had "Somewhere" as a single.

"Adrenaline" is much hyped - I hope for everyones sake it lives up to expectation.

The Expanded-disc is basically an Adrenaline EP + the demoes. So it makes sense.

Did anyone notice in Annually book that Neil thought New London Boy will be the first single from Nonetheless but Parlophone said they want Loneliness to be the first one. And PSB said - Fine.
This means PSB think it's a single material so it can be easily 5th single.

New London Boy sounds like a song that wants to be single material but it's not. I understand Neil wanted this for single but it's not powerful enough. I even think they wanted "Schlarger" to be a single but maybe it's not powerful enough to be a single.Wish wrote: ↑Sat 14 Sep 2024, 8:49 pm Did anyone notice in Annually book that Neil thought New London Boy will be the first single from Nonetheless but Parlophone said they want Loneliness to be the first one. I think Parlophone is taking the right decitions for single material, if they are the ones who do that.

For the 3rd and 4th singles, I think they could have almost released any 2 tracks from the album, and they would have provided a good reflection of what the album was about.
I think the one track I was surprised wasn't one of the two was Why Am I Dancing, which to these ears sounds the most commercially appealing, even though it isn't one of my favourites off the album.

Must be my ears but the only track left that I think has single potential is The Secret To Happiness. They can edit it down and shake it up a little which is ideal for a 5th single.
Bullet For Narcissus has the tempo for a great single but suffers a similar issue to Dictator Decides in the respect that there isn’t really a structure that lends itself to a single.

I could get behind a single release of "TSOH", but as I've stated before they should big up the lounge music style even further. It's just a little too watered down on the album to make you take notice of how left field it is coming from them.E-Mail Vampire wrote: ↑Sun 15 Sep 2024, 6:50 am Must be my ears but the only track left that I think has single potential is The Secret To Happiness. I was listening to a local artist a week or so ago and their style does vary across genres, and they did a full on yacht/lounge song and it just made me wish even more that PSB had been braver to embrace it all the more.

Complete agreeance from me. They can do nonchalant when they want to. Example include Decadence and It Always Comes As A Surprise. Both of which are unimprovably debonaire.E-Mail Vampire wrote: ↑Sun 15 Sep 2024, 6:50 am they should big up the lounge music style even further

"Debonaire" would be the perfect name for the PSB lounge album. I'm in. Can the Vegas residency be far off?Too Many Shadows wrote: ↑Sun 15 Sep 2024, 7:28 pmComplete agreeance from me. We don’t know too much about “Adrenaline” except it vaguely reminds Neil of Chris Issak. I think people are eager to hear it because in the past PSB have left stunning tracks from the main album recording sessions off the final tracklist simply because they didn’t fit for some reason, not because of a lack of quality. “Miserablism”, “Shameless”, and “An open mind” are clear examples of this. I think fans are hoping “Adrenaline” is similar in that it’s an incredible recording that just didn’t sit well with the other tracks on “Nonetheless.”

I'd add "I didn't get where I am today" from Release.Danimal wrote: ↑Mon 16 Sep 2024, 1:21 amWe don’t know too much about “Adrenaline” except it vaguely reminds Neil of Chris Issak. Let's see what Adrenaline holds, but the title alone sounds exciting.
