I was at the Mystery Show last week where Gorillaz played their new album in full for the first time…
It sounds incredible with lots of Indian and eastern influences as well as having plenty of hip hop and synth elements … so all still very much Gorillaz. Was super pleased to see Johnny Marr guesting on four tracks but gotta say I felt a pang of regret when Sparks appeared on what is admittedly a great bouncing pop single that has been released today.
Can’t help but think Neil’s voice would work so well alongside Damon on a track … one day it may happen.
