2026 releases so far

#1 Post by telys »

2026 seems like yet another year full of PSB and PSB related releases:

Volume
Dreamworld Live BR/CD
Musik (cinema)
Obscure - live concept
Neil Tennant 101 lyrics
Annually 2026
Hallo Spaceboy RSD

Anything else?

A man from the future? They once said they were reworking it with the Manchester Camerata.

Kae Tempest ‘Self Titled’ RSD vinyl stripped back versions of the whole album - so I assume NT’s vocal will be on the different ‘Sunshine in Catford’
previously Parlophoney.

I wish they'd release a third B-sides compilation. I think it's about time. Most fans prefer physical formats, and I think it would be very well received.

It looks like Madonna’s The Confessions Tour Live is getting a RSD vinyl release too - Neil’s vocal is on Sorry.
Woof.

Yeah agree - I sort of feel like the Obscure concerts might be an avenue that could promote such a release, so sort of feel like an announcement on a 3rd B-sides collection could be coming.

There's supposed to be a new track by Sophie Ellis-Bextor titled "Drumroll" which will feature Neil Tennant as a vocalist. It's supposed to appear on the expanded edition of her most recent album Perimenopop, which I suspect will come out soon.

A duet or just backing vocals?
She's a well-known fan of the guys. I own almost all their albums, so I've imagined and wished more than once that they'd call her for a collaboration. Whether it was singing with Neil in a duet like "What Have I Done" or "In Denial"... or them writing a song for her.

My gut feeling is that "Naked" will have its first run in Autumn 2026 somewhere in preparation for the eventual West End debut.

No idea, although the way she was talking about it, I would guess duet. But that's indeed just a guess.

This is mine. I’ve left off tracks from the three EPs (Christmas, Agenda, Lost)

1. Fugitive (seven-inch mix)
2. Glad all over
3. I cried for us
4. A certain “Je ne sais quoi”
5. The way through the woods (long version)
6. I started a joke
7. Hell
8. In his imagination
9. Baby (demo)
10. Listening
11. One night
12. Inside
13. Entschuldigung!
14. Get it online
15. No more ballads
16. Odd man out
17. In bits
18. One-hit wonder

1. The white dress
2. Wiedersehen
3. A cloud in a box
4. The dead can dance
5. An open mind
6. No boundaries
7. Decide
8. At rock bottom
9. New boy
10. Party in the Blitz
11. Through you (extended mix)
12. Sense of time
13. If Jesus had a sister
14. It’s not a crime
15. I’ve got plans (involving you)
16. Everybody will dance
17. Beauty has laid siege to the city
18. Clean Air Hybrid Electric Bus
Woof.

CD1 would be patchy at times but CD2 is pretty solid and would make a decent follow up to Alternative.

One would hope they also take the opportunity to release "Format" on vinyl in tandem with a third b-sides compilation, though "Format" was so dense with material it would likely need to be four LPs rather than the three it took to comprise "Alternative."
