Hochhaussinfonie

I highly recommend watching this film which is included in the new bluray version of Potemkin. Very moving especially for anyone interested in Cold War German history from a personal POV. Filmed in 2006 so sadly most of the residents will be dead now. A really beautiful piece of cinema.

And for those of us who can't watch a region-locked DVD (grrrr!), it's here on YouTube in full: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Yb-FYGV3ck

Neil and Chris make an appearance at around the 51:00 mark. It's a fascinating production and an impressive piece of coordination and cooperation.
For your own good, call me tonight.

But a shame the actual Hochhaussinfonie was not included.

I found the documentary overlong and not really fascinating tbh, there are better documentaries on the GDR.

Agree 100% - I found it quite enthralling, and yes very moving too.

Also would prefer the actual Performance.
The included Docu is boring as hell 🄱
