Change to Battleship Potemkin releases?

#1 Post by bookshopboy »

I've just been looking on www.amazon.co.uk. Originally, there were two "Battleship Potemkin" releases due - one at 11.99 and one at £15.99. There was a thread about these 2 releases - one which was due to be just CD and the other to be a CD+DVD release: viewtopic.php?t=7920&highlight=potemkin

However now all Amazon seem to list is one CD at £9.99:

Yeah, I noticed that the other day.

The other release, the one thats no longer listed, had the same catalogue number as the one printed on the promo disc itself.

Maybe we'll just have to wait for the official site to clarify the situation...

this site lists the 19th Sept. as release of version with DVD, but makes no mention of standard release http://www.dvdfever.co.uk/music.shtml

surely the decision as to what is being released and when must have been made by now :?

Have anybody been ordering anything from them? They are located in Singapore and I am pretty much sure it is going to be a pirate CD

I purchased the Coldplay CD from them (as a gift as I cant f*** stand the album)

Indeed it did come from Singapore (In 2 days mind you) and you are well and truly wrong to think its a pirate copy Im afraid.

Is Potemkin actually getting a DVD release? (Sorry, I've been out of the loop for a while).

The last I heard was that there were negotiations or something going on about a DVD release, but nothing was certain.

The "bonus DVD" listed on Play could be highlights from Trafalgar Square or somerthing - a sort of extended version of the fan club DVD we got last Crimbo?

There should be DVD release. Logically...
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.
