That's impossible to do. I can't choose from so many good songs the fist one, the second, then the third... up to number 38. I will list my 9 favourite singles (maybe next week the list may be different).

1 BEFORE
2 D.J. CULTURE
3 WAS IT WORTH IT
4 A RED LETTER DAY
5 BEING BORING
6 HOW CAN YOU EXPECT...
7 DOMINO DANCING
8 LOVE COMES QUICKLY
9 WEST END GIRLS
.
.
.
.
35 SO HARD
36 DRUNK
37 PANINARO
38 SOMEWHERE

A poll, some kind of 'statistics', would
have been interesting on this matter.
'Somewhere' seems to be disliked by
many fans.

I've always liked Somewhere for some reasons although it hasn't got a very high positin in my list. I was more than surprised that Was it worth it? seems to be quite disliked! I've always thought that this is one of their best single releases ever.

The problem with Somewhere is that it's a Broadway showtune/gay anthem covered by Pet Shop Boys. It was never likely to be surprising in any way.

I don't mind it, actually, but it is definitely one of the less memorable singles.

Take your time and give it a shot. You don't have to post your list within 10 minutes... Perhaps you should do some listening... Compare some songs, whatever. Jamie also thought he couldn't do it, but he DID manage to compile a Top 38  Your votes could also make some difference... - No race is run yet, not for the top position, nor for the bottom position!

I have now processed all votes up until here, with the exception of people who didn't post a complete Top 38. This includes BeingBoring, who forgot to add Seriously to his list. Once he does, I can also process his list. Right now, 43 lists are processed...

I think you should PM BeingBoring about the omission of "How Can You..".

I already did so. BeingBoring is probably Neil or Chris in disguise. They also forget about "Seriously" all the time

Somewhere would have been a great track if the beginning and the end had some sort of effort put in for the first and last 30 seconds of the song.

A decent production would have helped too.

The reason why Somewhere ended up in the lower regions of my Top 38: it's over-produced. I just don't like the additional production, added by Trouser Enthusiasts. The unreleased PSB 7-inch version (which can also be heard during the concert on the Somewhere DVD) is better.

"Somewhere" could indeed have been an awesome track. All they needed was a production more in the vein something like "Always On My Mind". Then all they needed was a tune sounding something like "It's A Sin". Then it would kick ass! Easy!
