last episode was the best one yet. I would call it an instant classic. they got mugged but brett got scared and left jermaine on his own to face the muggers when they got cornered.
and then there was this tension between them because brett left jermaine to die.

loved that rap song hip-hopapotamus and rhymenocerous they did also.

its my new favorite HBO show. just cant get into john from Cincinnati which is another HBO show. this season of entourage is as good as ever though

The 15-track set features songs first aired on the Conchords' hit HBO series, but they have been retooled in the studio with producer Mickey Petralia.

Fans will delight in the new versions of "The Prince of Parties" and "The Most Beautiful Girl (In the Room)," which accompanied two of the most memorable sequences in the HBO show.

Also included are the dazzling Pet Shop Boys parody "Inner City Pressure," which will be the first single worked to radio, the Kraftwerk-with-acoustic-guitars "Robots," the aptly named David Bowie tribute "Bowie" and the disco pastiche "Think About It."

The Conchords' debut EP, "The Distant Future," will vie this weekend for the Grammy for best comedy album.

Saw this show for the first time when BBC3 repeated it in its entirety over Christmas and now suffering serious withdrawal symptoms.

You are correct! I just checked the credits & Video Kid was written & produced by Bret McKenzie - from the album Prototype on Loop Recordings.

I wonder if the unexpected contact from the Pets regarding Video Kid planted the seed for Inner City Pressure. It's a fairly obscure track and presumably McKenzie was quite unknown at the time. I seem to remember a quote (in Literally??) where he expressed how utterly amazed he was when he received the Pets' request to use the song.

I cant get that little Ba Ba ba-ba Bow! harmony part out of my head from "Foux du Fafa".I have no control over it.

I could be in a meeting at work listening to one of the supervisors talking and then suddenly out of the blue, Ba Ba ba-ba Bow!
