I agree that the whole Rudebox thing was botched. EMI right?

The Ralphi Rosario mixes are good - he's kept the song structure and made a dancefloor track but I really detest that trancey synth sound in it. The Sander mix is just horrible in my opinion - its a sound I've heard in many many gay clubs everywhere and it leaves me cold. Different strokes I guess.

Town - what a great club name

Town consists of two floors the first floor is called Downtown and the upstairs floor is called Uptown.

The physical release for this seems to have been put back again and again and the track is not listed on the HMV site as yet even for a pre-order. I have just received the Sander van Doorn newsletter and apparently they are trying to obtain the necessary worldwide copyright clearances to go ahead with this release, however the track can be purchased worldwide now on Beatport http://www.beatport.com.

Sander van Doorn is doing well in the Dutch charts with "Close My Eyes". The song is at #7 in the single sales Top 100. And in the official "Mega Top 50" it climbs from #47 to #20 this week.
