not sure if your taking issue with an article inside the magazine or just the fact he's wearing a nice suit and stepping out of a limo. would you rather he swung out tarzan style from the tree's in a loincloth to the white house?

Personally I'd have gone for him as B.A. Baracus.

I'd have gone for B.A. Robertson, but I don't think he's qualified.

He'll have the same sway Clinton and the Bushes had. Let's face it, nobody has managed to pull off anything impressive in that department since Reagan outspent the Russians. Good luck doing that now with the economy Bush left us with.
Your ignorance or sheer mendacity speaks volumes. Time and time again, Bush tried to pass legislation that could have prevented this crisis that was caused by Jimmy Carter and then prolonged by Clinton! The Dimmocrats in congress were donwplaying the crisis and blocked legislation for the past few years. Now those people that caused the crisis incl. Obama want to fix it?! By blowing a trillion dollars? Who's gonna foot the bill? If it were so easy to revive the economy, then the USSR would still exist. And who has been in charge of the Congress for the past three years? The Dems! So your Democrat buddies are to blame for this crisis. And don't forget that Bush's tax cuts revived the economy after 9/11. But what do you care about facts? You're just an all feely touchy, namby-pamby liberal who feels instead of thinking rationally. is it any wonder that you liberals run everything into the ground? You just love spending other people's money and portray yourselves as generous. You really are just little, spoiled brats who want to be spoon-fed ihnabiting the bodies of grown-ups. You are little children, really.

The Global Financial Crisis is widely considered to have two causes.

Excessive financial deregulation and failure to apply Monetary Policy.

Deregulation has been a mantra of conservative politics around the Western
world since Thatcher and Reagan. The problem is that in the US it became
an obsession of the conservatives. McCain was not trusted by the Reaganites
in the party because they thought he was not a fanatical de-regulationinst like them.

The Republicans even forced legislation saying that congress could not pass legislation
to regulate derivative trading.

Second is failure to apply monetary policy. If there is too much money in the economy,
the central bank should raise interest rates to soak up the money. Bush's government
failed to do this for purely stupid reasons. They were driving and when they should have
touched the brakes, they hit the accelerator. Result, crash.

Your chanting that regulation is socialism, is indicative of the total intelligence vacuum
in the conservatives and exactly why we had a meltdown. Instead you prefer to blame it
on the blacks, just like previous conservatives blamed it on the Jews. Nothing has changed.

So the problem with the economy is all down to the Democrats who have controlled Congress for the last two years, and nothing to do with the Republicans who controlled it for the previous twelve?

Interesting.

If that's the case, then what were your Republican buddies, Reagan and Bush doing during the 12 years that they shared power?

Kind of sticks a dirty great pin in the balloon that is your arguement, deosn't it?

First off a few points.

Republican's have had the trifecta for 6 of the last 8 years. And Bush pretty much got his way all the time.

Don't turn around and blame the shitty economy, world terrorism and the death of you dog on the party that's been pretty much locked out of power for most of this decade.

You got everything you wanted from Bush, you billions in tax cuts for rich people. More wars than you can handle. A lot less regulation in the banking and financial industry.

Let's face it, your entire philosophy is bankrupt! You are the ones who've been pushing de-regulation for the last 30 years. Guess what, you got what you wanted and now you all wet yourselves because the whole shitpile you created came crashing down on your heads and as usual, blame someone else.

You had your 8 years and this is where we are. Go back to your Terry Shivo bullshit. The American people have spoken and they said loud and clealy this election they don't want conservatives in any way shape or form. This people, is what a mandate looks like. You've been reduced to just a regional party from the south.

I guess we know who the 20% dead-ender Bush supports are.

This is the thing that amazes me about a particular minority of American Conservatives. For six years not only were they running congress, they also had a President in power who made Reagan look like Arthur Scargill. And yet still there were some Conservatives who acted as if their views had somehow been marginalised. All because of the "liberal media" and "liberal Hollywood". What scares me is thinking how such people will behave now that their views probably will become marginilised!

You know what? You are full of shit. What is it with your pathological lies? Is it your second nature to lie and lie over and over again? You liberal nutjobs are like spoilt little brats who live in a fantasy world and you project all your rottenness and depravity onto the Republicans.
I told you before that Bush tried many times to stop the banking crisis but the Dimmocrats blocked it in the Senate! Instead, they donwplayed the crisis in Congress! You can see Barney Frank(whose boyfriend used to run a brothel in his apartment) lie about the crisis in the Senate in 2004 on youtube! in 1977 Jimmy Carter and the Dimms passed legislation that forced banks to give out loans to anybody, irrespective of the income and financial situation. Why? Because "everybody should be allowed to own a house" because you liberals are all about "fairness." Thus, the bankers did as they were told. This joke was abetted by Clinton in the 90s. Bush saw it coming and yet the Dems(your buddies) blocked it. Why? Because they WANT this crisis! They want to bankrupt this nation and as many people as possible on the government dole. They use it to nationalize the entire economy. And they already nationalized the banks. And Obama, though he claims to bring hope and change, instills more and more fear into people so that they go along with all his socialist policies.
And why is it that you think that you have a right to my income? What on earth makes you believe that you are entitled to other people's money? How about I break into your place and nick your computer? How about I steal your wallet? If I want to give you money, then I'm gonna give it to you personally and not hand it over to the government to blow it. Socialists just love to be generous with other people's money. Tell me how laudable and courageous it is to spend money that you took from others. This is socialism and the reason for the crisis is TOO MUCH socialism and not capitalism, i.e. too much regulation, you pathetic liar! You socialists must lie to fool people into voting for you. Wherever socialism was tried, it was bound to fail. Because socialism punishes the achievers and rewards the losers. Socialists need crises like this one in order to make more and more people dependent on them so that they can then bribe the voters into voting for them by giving them free government handouts. Should those people find a job and earn good money, who would be there for the Socialists to bribe?
I don't know how depraved and unhinged and addled one has to be to think like that. Wait, I know. I used to be one of you. Thank God I moved on. Do yourself a favor and follow suit.
