I don't know if it was already pointed out: i really like the bass line starting at about 2.51 (video). It's so avant-garde...

Got it on iTunes today. The PSB Symphonic mix is pretty complex and interesting. Between 5:20 and 7:05 it gets eerily discordant.. nice to hear on Halloween, lol.
The Gui Boratto mix is sleek but repetitive. He does throw in some classic PSB samples, like the sighing sound from the extended Love Comes quickly, and the hiss from -I think- Always on my mind. Both samples seem to be from Introspective. (Edit, a few hours later: they sound like samples, but may be newly generated- copyright issues with whomever owns mechanical rights to Introspective?)

Must admit, so far I am liking Mark Reeder's Stuck in the 80's mix best. Clasic burbling sequencers, touches of New Order bass twang. God, I'm old. But it sounds good. (Edit, a few hours later: It seems to emulate late-80's PSB mixes, but is rather soulless, ultimately.)

I do like the computer-assisted subtlety of the video. (Edit, a few hours later: I do appreciate the stillness-but-look-closely aspect of the video. Not changing my opinion of Taylor-Wood, but mixed with PSB music it's quite good.)

This song and its mixes are sort of making my day. Well done.

Have had a package from Kompact today all items 7",12" and CD. 7" is number 398 0f 500 what number do you have if any .

Apologies if several replies pop up, but I have trouble posting. Here goes...
My package direct form Kompakt would have been delivered on Thursday but I was out so collected it from the Post Office today. I have number 16 in the edition for the 7" (or it could be 16 with the tale joined back to the number - wishful thinking maybe!). I like the way that the edition numbers are hand written - it makes it the release more personal.

Sorry that should read I have number 16, or it could be 15!!!!

At first I also thought the video was just a photograph with the smoke and blink effects added on it, but looking closely, it´s a REAL VIDEO!!!!! If you play it fast foward or backwards, or if you you go right to the last and first frame you can notice a lot of minor changes on Sam´s position!! The smoke is real, the blinks are real....what amazing stillness!!!! Not computer-assisted at all!

I suspect it's a trick cigarette that has loads of smoke but doesn't turn to ash, so that she doesn't burn her fingers.

I ordered the 7", 12" and CD from recordstore, they've emailed me to apologise that it's taking a bit longer to get to me than they promised because the release date has been put back two weeks.

I just cancelled my Amazon order and ordered it direct from Kompakt.

yeah I dont think you could get such a steady stream of smoke like that.

yeah I dont think you could get such a steady stream of smoke like that.

Also, if the video was made in the UK, then using a lit cigarette would be illegal.
