It's strange, hypnotic, but very good. :D

I don't yet know what to think about it exactly. I'm waiting to see the video, that will tell us the idea of the song.

Nothing like they've ever done before, but so amazing!
It just goes to show that after 27 years of writing music together they can still make something new and original.

To me it has the same production style as Flamboyant and Miracles, but the killer thing is...can you tell its PSB?
No, and that's whats going to get it airplay with the pop world of today. This track will take PSB from being a Radio 2 legend act to Radio 1 mainstream.

I certainly can't see Sylvia shrieking all the way through it...

it's definatley a grower....

it reminds me of "Can You Forgive Her"... Is this the first psb song to NOT feature the title in the lyrics (apart from instrumetals)....

The "I believe/we can achieve/ the love that we need" bit is indeed very good.

Ok. Just listened first time on quality cans.

It is crisp, moody (I'm with Lleonard on that one) and very catchy. Neil's vocal is quite low in the mix, but that adds to the mystique of the song. The call & response sounds wierd first time, but choric second time and it definitely feeds into the message... there is a very strong undercurrent of melancholy, beautiful chords and an intricate structure which I didn't fully get first time. I'm trying really hard not to go back to my lovely cans right away. Just thought I'd pause and share.

It's still - I have to say - quite old, reserved and not punchy enough to be a smash hit (or whatever we'd call them nowadays)... just with some younger people (I like 'pub chorus' as a description) keeping the energy up.

mmmm....I think it's a sort of "Can you forgive her?" vs "Thumptumping"....
Really love it. It's so original and different from any of their other song!

[Edited by admin]I have to say though, I've not quite anticapted a single as much as this one since 'It's a Sin'.

It's fantastic! :D So PSB, so catchy but still very original! Just like so much of their music, it's got that great effect of sounding jolly on the surface but a bit sad underneath. It reminds me of Soft Cell's Tainted Love but not as dark and I love the production. I imagine I'll be listening to this on repeat for ages! It sounds very commercial to me, certainly catchy enough to draw more people in but who knows how well it'll do? We'll have to see. The main thing is that it's great!

And Popjustice was right about the "oh" before the chorus being the best bit!
