I would be VERY surprised if this song reaches the TOP15. I really don't like it.
It sounds like a forced, old fashioned PSB effort to get a hit.
I feel it like one of those song you wont listen to after the efervecense of the new algum goes bye.

I LOVE LOVE the song but I always wonder if the PSB always think they have to release an upbeat song first as some kind of unwritten rule.I mean even the likes of def leppard and aerosmith are now hip to tap into the housewife market by releasing slow weepy songs that make women from teens to 50 yr olds run out and buy them.

Heard it earlier today, then the new improved version. Wasn't sure at first but now it's not too bad. It's not excellent but it's an optimisitc and catchy track. It should scrape the top ten in the UK depending on how much publicity it gets, and considering it's May and not January.
But I'm smiling and that's the most important thing

Ditto. Sounds like a Top 10 to me.
BTW: Maybe I'm stupid but I always thought that PM was the abbreviation for Prime Minister. So .... were all those earlier posts requesting a meeting with Tony Blair or what ??

Not 100% sure about it either. But do think its a nice fun track. I don't think it's forced at all... they've obviously cared alot about the production and the lyrics
I'm just not sure about the back-to-the-80s
No PSB single has been this 80s.... they already have to deal with the 80s band cliche, even tho i think it is unwarrented... so this single might just make the cliche a total reality!

Well, I do like the track. It's POP, almost perfect POP !
It won't be a number 1. However, I can easily imagine that it wil be a major hit in the UK, in the Northern countries, in Germany, in Spain and in Italy.
Some bits make me think, to some extent, about Eight Wonder's "Cross my heart"...
Looking forward to hearing "Fundamental". Well another 2 months: it's unbearable !
