this post made me think to look at the discography on the official site.

1. since Go West was the first single to be released across two CDs, these are the singles that have only had one brand new unreleased studio track included:

Flamboyant, Drunk, I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more, Paninaro 95, Liberation...and Go West!

2. no. I think this will be the first time an edit of a previously released song has been a B-side. hope this is not an indicator of how things will go in the future.

3. quite a few remixes in the past have been promo-only though, even when they've released a single in the shops across four formats.

PS Blue on Blue is also a very old song that Royksopp sampled on one of their hits.

Are people still moaning about promo-only tracks and that they can't afford prices any higher than what they would sell for in Ldle if they sold CD's?

Not In Private, but *of course* Fugitive. Way more representative, less cliché and way more fresh sounding.

I am choosing to not believe this until PSB announce it ontheir site somewhere.

Yes, but Elton John fans wouldn't buy that. Those who couldn't be bothered buying an entire album for a song (or those keen about to buy both) might buy a single. Are there any Elton John fans? I don't know.

I'm still sceptical about this being the actual tracklisting anyway. Why on earth would the single version of Minimal be on CD1 & CD2? Seems stupid.

Somehow I don't see it. IP is already on Fundamentalism and isn't that long and NTFT is likely to be kept as a BP track only. If there is an edit it will probably be on a further listening CD in the future. I just wish BP would come out on DVD with their soundtrack on it.

I think that there will be 1 2 -track CD with B-side a DVD and a remix CD with the B-side remixed as was the case with the ressurectionist

Neil said that one of the formats would have remixes and it's not going to be the 7" is it? So, yes I'd say 2x CD and a DVD as confirmed on the EMI website.

The only good remix Superchumbo did is for Kiki kokova - Love to love you baby.

1. Untrue. Can You Forgive Her was also released on two CDs, so were earlier singles like Jealousy, DJ Culture and Being Boring. The German release of London also had only one 'new' studio track included: Positive Role Model.

2. It's not the first time. Back in 1995, the European 2-track cd-single (cardboard sleeve) of Paninaro '95 was backed with an edited version of In The Night; a shorter edit of the version on Disco.

PS: True. The track "Blue On Blue" by Gals And Pals was used by Röyksopp for their hit "So Easy".

If Elton's on it, can there be a competition to have dinner with the bewigged one by downloading Minimal?

In the UK, Jealousy was the first 2 CD release, followed by Can You Forgive Her?

Go West was a 1CD release in the UK.
