Hi Andrew, that was quick work!

Can't believe I have been around all week, and only caught this today for the first time. I never remember to check in here, my standards are slipping
So the ballet is going to tour!

@ Pandemonium73 I downloaded a previous version of this freeware:
http://www.mp3mymp3.com/
to record streamed audio. It works well!

Thanks for the link!
kimphilby, I agree that it would be great if Jools Holland had them on his show.
pineneedle, thanks for the info but I'm not very technologically minded so I'll just stick with my cassette recordings for now (old fashioned, I know)!
I enjoyed "Tracks of my Years". I thought their choices were good.

Hi. Thanks pineneedle. I have now corrected Saturday Night fever' to 'Night Fever'! I have to say I think the choices were very much geared a a core radio 2 audience despite also being personal faves of the Boys. Neil's comment that he hadn't heard the Randy Crawford track for years was interesting as they often seem to play it on Radio 2! I think Neil is more of a Radios 3 and 4 man really.
I am really looking forward to the ballet. Must start a thread on speculation as to which Hans Christian Anderson story they have chosen (or co-opt a current ballet thread!)

Oh no.... Now I just realised I missed all the Tracks of my years shows.

Are they anywhere online anymore?

Thanks for the info about Later with Jools Holland. I'm looking forward to seeing that.
psb-freak, unfortunately, you can only listen back to Radio 2 shows for a week after they are broadcast so you can no longer hear Neil and Chris choosing the "Tracks of my Years".

4Music are currently showing every number one of the 80s. They're up to April 1986 and not a Grimshaw in sight.

Was it the first radio play of the single Did you see me coming? on Radio 2 this morning ? It was either 10.40 or 11.40.

Record of the week next week, officially play-listed the week after, normally. Good news.
Jools Holland appearance on May 19th: Very good news. Hope they do 2 songs from Yes (Did you see me coming? and The way it used to be) the latter as a duet with one of the female guests they have. Don't suppose Patti Smith's on that week, is she???!!!
